To register a new patient you will need to live within our practice boundary, please enter your postcode below to ensure that you live within our Practice Boundary before attempting to register with the practice.
We are currently in the process of updating our practice boundary. Our practice takes registrations from the following areas:
- Any city centre postcode– M1, M2, M4, M60 (M3 and M15 within the city centre area)
- M12 up to Beswick/Pottery Lane
- M14 up to Moseley Road (southern border), Wilmslow Road (Western border)
- M5, up to the Regent Road retail park, up to the western border of A5066, northern border of Middlewood Street, and southern border of Worral Street.
If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one you can receive emergency treatment from the local GP practice for 1 occasion. After this you will need to make an application to register permanently if you fulfil the criteria.
You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be on the local practice list and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. This process can only be repeat twice (maximum of 6 months).
To register as a temporary patient simply contact the local practice you wish to use. Practices do not have to accept you as a temporary patient although they do have an obligation to offer emergency treatment.
